PT Wickland Medika Imantara participated in the Basic Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) and Vascular Anastomosis Skill Course held at Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and hands-on skills in minimally invasive thoracic procedures, which are increasingly adopted in modern surgical practice.

The program featured expert speakers and practical training sessions, allowing participants to gain direct experience in surgical techniques and instrumentation. VATS, as a minimally invasive approach, has been widely recognized for reducing surgical trauma, shortening recovery time, and improving patient outcomes compared to conventional open surgery (McKenna et al., 2006; Yan et al., 2009).
